Winning San Francisco for Progressives means getting organized and informed. We'll be meeting with SF public interest advocate Jon Golinger and progressive District 10 Supervisor candidate Tony Kelly.
Jon Golinger is a public interest advocate, attorney, and neighborhood leader in San Francisco. Over the last two decades, Jon has led numerous successful environmental and public interest campaigns, including No Wall on the Waterfront, Protect Coit Tower, Don't Silence SF Voters, Citizens to Save the Waterfront, and the Coalition for a Clean and Reliable MUNI. He's now published his first book, "Saving San Francisco's Heart", which details the history of progressive politics in the city and Jon's vision to move it forward.
To move forward, we're going to need REAL progressives in office. Tony Kelly is a recently-announced candidate for SF District 10 Supervisor and an active organizer for issues like the arts and education in our community, economic equality, safe policing, and local progressive grass-roots engagement. He's run for D10 supervisor before and came in a very close second - just a few hundred votes short of winning. We'll have an open discussion that you won't want to miss.
We'll also have updates from our Medicare for All Healthcare, endoresements, housing, and other working groups.
If you're new to the SF Berniecrats, drop in and check it out. We're uncompromising and active in your neighborhood.
